A Guide to the Taipei Music Center Neighborhood: After-Show Hangouts and Nearby Artsy Spots
The Taipei Music Center (TMC) is nestled between Kunyang Station (昆陽站) and Nangang Station (南港車站) on the MRT. The complex itself has a food and drink street and music-themed shops. Before the show, you can check out the nearby POPOP TAIPEI or the TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE in CITYLINK. After the show, head towards Nangang Station for a few bistros that stay open past 22:00.
After-Show Hangouts: Bistros and Drinks
The first two spots are right inside the TMC complex, so you don't have to leave after the show. The other three are near Nangang Station and Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Station, and they stay open past 22:30.

Cocktails on tapA bar serving cocktails on tap, located on the outdoor food and drink street at TMC. They often create special limited-edition drinks inspired by pop songs to go with the concerts and music festivals held at the venue.

If you arrive early, the TMC complex and the neighboring POPOP TAIPEI are within walking distance. These spots have exhibition and event spaces suitable for artists and brands to host shows.
北流文化館北流文化館 (TMC Culture Hall)
Permanent and special exhibitions on pop musicTaiwan's first museum dedicated to popular music. Its permanent exhibition, 'Sing Our Songs: A Story of Taiwan Pop Music,' introduces the history of Taiwanese pop. It is currently closed for renovations to the permanent exhibition and will reopen on December 5th.

Creative park, exhibition venue rentalA park converted from an old bottle cap factory. Admission is free. It often hosts markets, exhibitions, and craft workshops. The venue is also available for rent for exhibitions. It's about a 5-minute walk from the North Gate of Nangang Station.
